Led the second largest and single most important Air Force Base in the U.S. Accountable for every facet of a 4,531 square mile operation and training complex (197 times the size of Manhattan) that encompassed three cities with over 50 profit and loss centers. This included over 5,000 facilities, 1,485 homes, 11 dormitories with 1,027 rooms, eight hotels, 21 restaurants, three social clubs, two fitness centers, three community centers, two 18-hole golf courses, a bowling alley and a 94-bed hospital. Managed $4.6 billion in capital assets and controlled $820 million in annual contracts. Managed 276 construction and renovation projects simultaneously. Developed and led a $327.5 million construction and renovation program and a $99.4 million design effort in a single year. In just 2 years, completed over 440 projects to construct new or renovate older existing facilities to LEED standards. Projects included office buildings, classrooms, dormitories, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and community and fitness centers. Achieved the Air Force’s highest accolades – led the base to win a record 119 awards.
