Dick Kipper serves as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee for BridgeForth Capital.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of Guggenheim Capital, LLC where he also serves as Chair of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Executive and Compensation Committees.
Mr. Kipper is the former Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of AFSA Data Corporation, a company which specializes in the servicing of student loans. Upon AFSA’s acquisition by First Chicago Corporation, Mr. Kipper was elected Vice President, Division Head of the Data Services Group of First Chicago, where he had responsibility for three subsidiaries and one division.
Seven years after AFSA’s acquisition, Mr. Kipper re-acquired AFSA from First Chicago. Under his second turn of leadership, AFSA grew to become the largest service of student loans and was eventually sold to Fleet Financial Group. Under Fleet Financial Group, Mr. Kipper served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AFSA. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Major Legal Services.
Mr. Kipper served on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association for eight years, the last two as national chair. He was also an advisor to the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Law and Aging and the Borchard Foundation for the ABA Justice and Education Fund; he was also involved with the Roaring Fork Conservancy in Colorado.
Mr. Kipper received his B.A. from University of Colorado and his M.B.A. from California State University.
